Katherine (2-year all state) and John (3-year all state) spent the weekend in Bismarck along with other students from across the state to perform in the ND HS All State Music concerts. Unlike most other high school all state events, all-state music is not divided between Class A and Class B. All students compete through one live audition for the chance of being selected to perform in these prestigious ensembles representing the best of high school musicians from across the state. This is also true for all other non-NDHSAA music all state and honor events - no division based on Class A or Class B. The audition requirements are very specific, high achieving and extremely competitive. These all-state events allow students the opportunity to rehearse and perform with other students from ND at a higher level and to experience other world-class conductors and composers.

Pictured is Katherine with her conductor, Chris Maunu and John with his conductor, Dr. Chung Park.
