The application window for the ND Academic and CTE Scholarship is now open! The amount of each scholarship is $750 per semester, $500 per quarter, or $1,500 for the academic year based on full-time enrollment in an accredited higher education institution in North Dakota, both public and private. The students may be eligible for up to $6,000 within six academic school years (do not have to be consecutive years) of undergraduate study after graduation from high school. The scholarships are renewable provided the student maintains a 2.75 grade point average based on a 4.00 scale reviewed each semester. The student must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits the first two terms and 15 credits each term thereafter.
Applications are submitted online and may be accessed at https://www.nd.gov/dpi/SchoolStaff/SAO/ grantscholar/ from January 1 – June 1, 2018. High school graduates will be notified of their eligibility for either scholarship by June 30. Students then must log in to the application site and either accept or defer the scholarship. No late applications will be accepted.
