Section 3: Technical Specifications Acknowledgement
- Site Prep – all dirt work to prepare the site, provide proper compaction, any necessary fill, or other work needed in advance of a concrete pour.
- Would require the removal of curbing and blending a smooth transition at the entrance on the north side
- Proper placement of #4 rebar 18” ocew, expansion joints, splash pads, and cement thickness

By signing below, the contractor certifies that the bid is firm for 60 days and that they have inspected the site and existing budget constraints.
SITE EXAMINATION
Bidders are expected to visit the site to compare the specifications with existing conditions. By submitting a bid, the contractor acknowledges that they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work and the local conditions.
PREPARATION and SUBMISSION OF BIDS
- Bids must be submitted to the EPS school office in a sealed envelope.
- The Bidder shall specify a unit price for every item in the Bid Form. In case of error in extension, the unit price shall govern.
INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
The contractor shall maintain the following insurance coverage for the duration of the project:
- Worker’s Compensation: Statutory limits for North Dakota.
- General Liability: $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate.
- Automobile Liability: $1,000,000 combined single limit.
REJECTION OF BIDS
The Ellendale Public School Board reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The District will award the contract to the “Lowest Responsible Bidder,” taking into account the contractor’s experience.
